Presidents report Ed Barth
Ed reported that the newsletter seems to be the best way to keep all members
Informed, and that the posting of it on the website is working great. This is also
Where upcoming class information will now be so members have a way to help
reach others who want to get involved with taking the classes.
The Region 10 meeting will be held January 27, 28 in Reno. Ed and Rik are both
Attending. Anyone else?
Ed brought up the topic of paying a Fuel surcharge for instructors as an extra
incentive in lieu of extra pay. Much discussion was made over this as an idea was
formed to think more on the topic and get back at the next meeting.
Programs Rik
Rik handed over this topic to Joel who had much to bring up about the upcoming
Oct 26, 27 PDM with David Schmaltz. Joel reported that final preparations were
being made with the help of his assistant Lana. There had already been some
interested parties wanting to sign up. Rik has several from PSC and Joel has a
bunch from Symantec. Discussion about cost to put on the PDM. Wayne moved
to spend 1800 2000, Rik came up with an amended version an upd the price to
cover 2500. A Motion was made by Rik and seconded by Wayne, Motion passed.
Rik also mentioned that the April PDM will still be a joint venture with NAPM.
Treasure Report Wayne
Wayne handed out a Balance sheet and Profit and Loss statement as of 0ct 5,
2005 with the current financial information.
Education Mary
Mary reported that 17 people are signed up for the upcoming Basics Class and 5
are signed up for the ECO class. It was also reported that Country Coach is now
making it a requirement for their employees to take the CPIM Certification
course. This is good for our program.
Dir at Large Elaine
